@shechshire ... I don't think that not one person in my entire life has actually giving a crap about me. I know it might sound kind of corny but, my loneliness combines with this graveyard shift security officer job I got is starting to make me feel like an animal. I mean, I don't come in contact with anyone. I just don't understand why no one wants to be with me. Any ways maybe there's hope for me but then again maybe not. Thanks for posting this.

I'm a loner. I'm the perfect example of one I think. I have no friends. I never really did, sometimes more than others. I don't understand because, I have at the least decent looks, good hygiene, sensible attitude, & a good sense of style. I have never had a girlfriend & I'm 22 which doesn't make me happy. I work a lonely graveyard shift with no one to talk to. I don't even have family besides my mom & dad. The friends that I do manage to get usually just fade out stop talking to me...

@cookiemonster9052 I have to agree with you. I love spending time alone, it works for me! I'm not shy or crazy and i have never killed anyone. I go out into the world and shop, pay my bills etc. I don't really have to many friends but i'm chummy with my neighbors and my kids and my hubby. But i get my energy when i'm alone. I would feel like a fish out of water if i had to constantly be around a bunch of people all the time. There is a lot of good loners out there! Glad to see we are not alone.

@DropDeadCouture That's not necessarily true. One can have friends but choose to spend the majority of their time alone. Not all loners are forced into it.
