~Selenas POV~
I really had to bite my lip from letting my mouth hang open. It was a small but really neat cave. We all could have a sleepover here......
Nick: This is my private place.
Selena: Oh.
Nick: Is something wrong?
Selena: (turns to him) Of course not.
So much for sleepovers. Oh well, at least Nick trusted me enough to show me this place. I was still moving here and there when I felt a cold arm wrap around my waist. I turned to see Nick smiling but looking a little unsure."Dont bite your lip," he told me. I had grabbed hold of it again. I released it and just that second nick trapped it in both of his. I was taken back but managed to tug on his upper lip. His lips were so cold and welcoming. I couldnt help but fly up to the seventh-cloud. No, make that tenth. He licked my lower lip, asking for permission and I let him in without thinking. At that moment, I realized I had undoubtedly and completely fallen for him. A minute later I tried to pull away but nick wouldnt let me. I could feel my breathing getting heavier by every single subsequent. That boy drove me crazy. By the time he pulled away, my heart-rate and breathing were faster than Joes speed. Nick smirked at me. Then he smiled at me formally. When I was able to speak, we had an interesting little conversation.
Nick: Selena, you know were going to school tomorrow and were not technically dating.
This time I couldnt stop my mouth from literally hanging open. He smiled.
Nick: So, as I was saying, will you be my girlfriend?
Selena: Of—of c—ooouu—rrrse. I would, umm, love to.
He cupped my face, his palm and fingers behind my ear and his thumb stroking my cheek, sending chills down my spine. What made me want to jump, though, was, "Selena, I am unmistakably and helplessly in love with you."
Guess what I did after that? Stood there once again, my mouth hanging wide open, which doesnt happen quite often, well until nick came into my life. I guess nick was expecting for me to something back but I was, well, this may sound weird but I was kind of embarrassed because well, I had never told a boy I loved him, that way. I buried my head in his chest and mumbled a "I love you too, nick." "I know you feel uneasy but if you really and truly love me, then look me in the eye and tell me you love me," was a reply I didnt expect from him. I sighed quietly, even though I know for a face that vampires have sharp ears, and pulled away. I was hesitant but I grabbed both his ice-cold cheeks and neared his face. "I love you nick, really and truly. I thought I liked you from the beginning but it was something way beyond it. You---you make me do things no one else can. I feel nervous around you but I feel happy. Im satisfied with my life when Im with you," was all I could get out of my mouth. I guess that was enough. I let go of his face and begun to back away but he grabbed my neck kissing me harshly yet with the best feeling I had ever felt. He grabbed my lower lip between his and I just pulled on his upper one. I must be the worst kisser he has ever met. I tried to pull away but he just tightened his grip. Tell me once again why vampires have to be so strong? He pulled away after what seemed like ages. I could barely breathe by then. That boy with the smirk just stood there looking at his watch. I spoke when I finally could. Correct statement: I shrieked.
Selena: NICK, YOU IDIOT. DID YOU REALIZE I HAVE TO BREATHE? Let me spell it for you, b-r-e-a-t-h-e.
Nick: I love doing that to you (chuckles).
Selena: (glares at him) You have no idea how much I hate you.
Nick: Oh, I do. (wraps an arm around her lower back and pulls her really close to him) So, babe, what do you want to do?
Selena: (serious) Nick, can you please do me a favour? It'll sound funny but Im serious.
Nick: Sure, hon, tell me.
Selena: Can you please not call me two things? Babe and beautiful? My aunt goes on and on talking like, Hey beautiful, whats up? , which I find annoying.
Nick: Good, I dont like babe much too. Just thought it was what I was SUPPOSED to call you.
Selena: (laughs)
Nick: But I will call you baby. My baby.
Selena: Im fine with that Funny. Isnt it? I hate babe but dont mind baby.
Nick: Im guessing it comes with the selena genes.
Selena: You mind?
Nick: Nah, Ill have to live with it anyways.
I was about to argue about have to but he must have guessed I was going to blab about something so he shut me up with those freaking awesome kisses of his. First on my lips, then on my jaw line and slowly down to my neck. I shuddered every time his cold thing lips made contact with my skin. It was then, that moment, he accidentally made me start a new life.
