  • I like it when cameras are on tripods.

  • The libs should be proud of buring all of that coal for their electric cars' power!

  • Looks like six engines... Two in front, two in the middle and two on the end

A typical coal train is composed of 100 to 120 cars

Typical coal car carries about 100 tons

    1 ton is 2,000 lbs

A coal train will deliver north of twenty million pounds of coal.

This quanity of coal will fuel a coal fired power plant for about (get this)

    About NINE HOURS!

( this is a very rough calculation... number of cars, density, grade, quality of the coal, how wet... etc... )

  • Byers Canyon is so cool.

  • OOOO, I get by with a little help from my friends..... :-)

  • fucccccccccccccccccccckkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk what all that omg its realy biiiiiiiggg

  • it made it up the grade with the help from the helper locomotives...

  • Judging by the grade and the amount of loaded cars, it needed another engine in front. Great vid, by the way !

  • Gee, All that muscle and no caboose.
