This guy didn't understand the movie lol.

Michael Phillips is alright

@Jkbox1 Well, he didn't know there would be a tracking device in the suitcase with the money. He figured it out later by accident because he kept getting chased. As for hiding it in the vent, he figured the vent would be the only place no one would look despite being in plain sight and easy to access if he had to. The Mexican hired guns didn't find it but Chigurh, being smarter, did later and got the money after Moss died.

@BenjaminKuruga there are some things that work in a book but don't work in a movie, the ending here is a prime example.
-
i was expecting a showdown between josh brolin and stelio kantos and all i got was tommy lee jones analyzing himself through a dreary perspective and kantos murders an innocent woman and then gets in a random ass car accident... wtf!?!?

@Jkbox1 Ye, wonder why too ..

I have a plot-busting question: Why did he go to all the trouble to hide the money in the hvac duct?? Because he knew he would be tracked by that. Then, why didn't he look in the satchel earlier and pull the transmitter out?????
-
@BenjaminKuruga to be fair if you have to read the book to understand the ending then the majority of people are not going to understand it
i really liked the film too, built alot of suspence and brolins acting was top notch it just feels the ending was rushed.
