Dirty Signs with Kristin! Today, we'll be learning the phrase, "Rat bastard," as requested by Vicki and Ryan. Enjoy, and thanks for watching!

DISCLAIMER: I am NOT an interpreter! I understand that the art of ASL is very complex, and what I do is probably much closer to "Signed English" as opposed to actual ASL. The phrases I sign in these videos are things I tried to mash together from individual words I learned on the internet and from friends, and are probably not very close to the actual ASL phrases. If you would like to start learning ASL, I highly recommend it--I'm trying myself and it's a beautiful language, and there are many good resources out there (myself not included). With that said, I am not trying to disrespect anyone in the process of making these videos, I'm simply trying to have fun with my friends and learn ASL. If you see me signing something incorrectly, PLEASE let me know, and I will try to make a new video. Thanks!

  • Hey big fan! Me and my BFF get bullied at school and we need a way to insult him w/out getting in trouble, could you sign "I hope chucky kills you in your sleep" ? Thanks! Xx

  • @hardworker424 No problem! If you have any more questions about Deaf culture/Deafness, let me know-- any questions welcome. I also have some cool websites you can check out, if you're really interested.

  • @ASLTerpCat Thanks for the info.

  • @GortosXtreme What a good question! Deaf people often know what thunder is because when it happens, and they're nearby, they can feel the vibrations of the noise. Often times Deaf people aren't 100% without sound, either :) Some Deaf people utilize hearing aids, while others have cochlear implants. Next time you're sitting around, maybe reading a book, try this exercise: get some earplugs, and put them in. See how much you can perceive without sound! It's fun!

  • @hardworker424 Hey there! I just wanted to expand your cultural understanding of Deaf people in America-- the term "Deaf and mute" is not really PC anymore. Many Deaf people can talk for themselves, sometimes they choose not to. But really the best way to address someone who can't hear is Deaf (and I capitalize it for people who are culturally Deaf, if they aren't culturally Deaf, then the lower-case "d" deaf works best).

  • I love signing this to people who DON'T speak sign.

  • I would also like to request "Lying sack of shit" please. Thanks!

  • my favorite part of all of these videos is the "Hurrah!" at the end. Totally cracks me up every time.

  • Please also consider Tits or Get the Fuck Out

  • You should do Bitches Ain't Shit but Hoes and Tricks
