@UltramanCronos not technicaly spikes they are sorta spikes but without them godzilla cant fire his lazors so technicaly their more of power crystals you can tell that just by the way they glow as he charges his lazors

No, its not. The new Godzilla movie isnt coming out in 2012.
They havent even started pre-production, or even began shooting footage. We probably wont see the new movie until 2014 at the earliest.
