A family vacation aboard Princess Cruises Sapphire Princess, October 4th to 11th, 2008. This is one of Princess' newest ships, built in 2004 in Japan by Mitsubishi, and loaded with amenities. Also seen are the Norwegian Star and Royal Caribbean Vision of the Seas in Puerto Vallarta. The food was the best of any cruise I've been on so far. The staff of the Vivaldi, Savoy, Pacific Moon, and Santa Fe dining rooms were comparable to the best land based 5-star restaurants around. It was a very enjoyable trip, and I hope to do it again sometime.

Great video! Lots of fantastic memories. Our cruise started on the Sapphire the day you got back (11th-18th Oct). It was fantastic! I've recommended it to everyone who has the means.

No Senor Frog, but a few local places. Not too impressed with the bars in Mexico, although some of the food on shore was very good.

Cool cruise. Have you ever been on the Coast Starlight? The food is less fancy, but the scenery is much much better!

I've been on the Coast Starlight dozens of times, and I never tire of the scenery. There's some video from one of my trips in another video here on youtube.

My favorite was the braised rabbit with wide egg noodles in a sauce that I can't pronounce!
