This Star Wars parody video was originally shot by the producer/director/cinematographers, Mark and Scott, at the age of 11 in 1978 on Super 8.
All of the filming took place in Mark's backyard and kitchen, using object from around the house, and a Super 8 camera with a stop-motion trigger. When she saw what had happened to all of her veggies and her kitchen in the course of production, Mark's mother was not pleased.
The film remained untouched and unwatched until 2007 when it was rediscovered, copied to DVD, edited, and given a soundtrack. 30 years later it remains a "classic".
The Cast:
R2-D2: Mayo Jar
C3P0: Wesson Oil
Darth Vader: Drink Pitcher
Storm Troopers: Clear Plastic Drinking Cups
Jawas: 7 Up Cans
Luke Skywalker: Smiling Mug
Obi Wan: Glove
Han Solo: Stainless Steel Milkshake Carafe
The sound effects were borrowed from random places on the web.
The sound clip at the very end is from Anchorman.
This is suprisingly entertaining enough to hold my interest for 2mins and 38secs...

Pretty good for 11 years olds to do this back in '78. Thanks for sharing your "classic". Mom can look back now and be pleased that her kids had the incentive to do this. I know I would have gotten a kick out of my kids doing this.
