Trailer for the documentary film "Shir Ecstasy!" - a dynamic presentation by Sharon Alexander on reviving the ecstatic tradition in Jewish worship service. The film draws on science, theology, history and music, and is illustrated throughout with footage of ecstatic worship and song, including Alexander's own Jewish Shir Ecstasy "jospel" choir, for which she is the musical director. Shir Ecstasy! was filmed and directed by Ruth Broyde Sharone.
