Like many women, I stay active juggling many aspects of a very full life! I'm a busy mom. I also love to travel, garden, cook and volunteer at my kids school. For many years, I worked as a journalist at ABC News in Los Angeles & CBS News in New York. Now, I work part-time as a radio host.

Why I am a Mormon:

I am a Mormon because I love the Lord Jesus Christ. And as I exercise faith in Him, I am blessed with the Holy Spirit in my life. My church lifts me, strengthens me and motivates me to BE good... and to DO good. The first principles and ordinances of the Gospel are simple: Faith, Repentance, Baptism, receiving the Gift of the Holy Spirit. As I obey the commandments, seek the Lord's will in my life, nourish my faith and repent, I grow stronger as a person. And as I share my personal blessings, my family is strengthened and those around me are uplifted. The Gospel is a tremendous gift in my life -- and I treasure it.

@jeremiahd78 to what are you referring? If you are referring to following the teachings of Jesus Christ. What isn't the value of living one's life with the consideration of others always at the forefront of our minds, of service and respect of others paramount just as Christ taught. What better way to improve not only ourselves but society also? Thanks for your comment.

@misterninja2 I agree many of them really are quite cool...although you don't necessarily have to be Mormon to be cool it certainly doesn't hurt to have the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ to live by and to share with others to better oneself and learn the true meaning of love, compassion and sacrifice. Life is challenging for each one of us but I believe as Christ taught, I never said it would be easy I just said it would be worth it. :)

@matt517472 okay I am going to respond to this one I typically delete anti-Mormon spam. This once I will give the benefit because some people may actually believe the silly anti-Mormon lie that people in our faith may worship Joseph Smith. Please allow me to clarify...our church is called the "Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints" and while we acknowledge Joseph Smith was a prophet, like any other, we do not follow him more than any other-we follow Jesus Christ's gospel and teachings.

@ckuhrasch I made a decision that my purpose for posting on youtube in the first place was to at least give those who were honest, sincere and have integrity to learn the truth about out faith the option of finding it on youtube. Christ taught us to love all others of all races, religions, beliefs, backgrounds, genders, cultures, etc and God is no respector of persons. We are on this earth together as children of God, and so will not waste my time responding to anti-Mormon Spam. Thank you.

@TheTrooper424 because the point of those who volunteered to do these spots was that we as Christians (Mormons) who believe in the teachings of Jesus Christ of the New Testament are of many different careers, backgrounds, interests and personalities--basically showing that many stereotypes are incorrect.
