tyson, when he was being trained by cus d'amato, was the best boxer of all time. he wins every fight in early rounds without breaking a sweat. when cus dies and tyson is world champion soon after, he gets distracted and discovers that sex and drugs are fucking wicked... then he just gets sloppy like the rest of us!

@ItsDatGirlJordz The best tyson was the defensive tyson who also threw combinations for 12 rounds,not the head hunting one punch at a time 5 round fighter we saw after 1988.

@ItsDatGirlJordz You're wrong about one thing.tysons best ability came when he was,as you said, dedicated training 7 days a week and utilizing a defensive first posture for 15 rounds. The problem came in late 1988 in the car crash after his fight with his wife,damaged his ability to slip side to side,head,side to side and his ability to bend deep to the opponents knees!! This accident stopped him from ever utilizing that posture.

@zohaib029 Totally irrelevent to my discussion.I presented facts on tyson.He was so diminished since prejail and since 1988,diminished even further.The program he followed was abaindoned after the spinks fight.Techically,he was a diminished fighter at 24yrs old.If you like the big puncher style,sorry to tell you holyfield walked thru every tyson shot so tyson wasn't as strong as people think,it was a combination of all the techniques in unison that damato taught mike.No you got the facts.enjoy.

Tyson was past his best ability since 1988,thats 11 yrs past. This tyson was the same shit tyson,head hunting,throwing the roudhouse sloppy punches off the wrong foot,no jabbing,no combinations.The right got in ,it was a lucky shot.The younger rooney trained tyson takes this guy out as easily and brutally as he did berbick,and tyson wouldnt even have felt one punch from this guy had it been the tyson of the late 80's.
