Salsa Dancing ON1 progress A year later as of 2006 to 2007

Salsa dancing progress dating from June 05, 2006 to June 15th, 2007 A year later salsa anniversary! My currrent progress without private lessons, without joining troupes and without a steady partner, however this year's goal is do all of these three things in order to enrich my dancing. This is based on watching videos on YOUTUBE, drop-in patterns and reading about the fundamentals of salsa. So YOUTUBE does work just like how the Bongo videos had help me with my bongo playing. So please use all the Podcast videos such as Anthony Persaud, Carlito Franco and many others. I am dancing with "roxyshkoo", you can find her at her Youtube channel right below.

This was taken at Dance Spectrum for Hot Salsa Fridays. Posting and recording the progress it's definitely a good way to find improvements among yourself. I highly recommend for dancers to record themselves in order to find areas of improvement. "You are your own worst critic". I thought I'd clarify my comment with an example in regard to dancing on5, e.g. after your first dip (around 00:25) when you come out of the dip, you should be steping back with right for the 5th beat but you're going left forward

you got a good clean lead! with a very good level of feedback tension in the arm so you're not dragging her around and actually leading! impressive!
