The Curfew for Minors under the age of 17 is a program designed to keep our children safe and prevent them from falling victim of crime. In doing so, beat officers within the community are advised of second and subsequent curfew violations committed by juveniles residing on their beats. The beat officer may then issue an ordinance complaint citation to the parent or guardian of the juvenile for permitting the minor to violate curfew laws.
