James Cotter's History of Exeter will be presented by James Cotter. These mini historical documentaries will be about key and fascinating events in Exeter's wide-ranging and varied past.

The series will be made in 2010 on location in Exeter, Devon. The series will be written and researched by James Cotter.

In the first programme entitled The Fight For The Throne James will explore the reign of King Stephen (1135-54) and how a English Civil War broke out and was fought just minutes away from where James currently resides today. James will also be looking at the impact of The Romans and how Exeter stood up to William The Conqueror. James also takes a look at how Exeter became a area of great importance in The English Civil War (1642-51).
