@xXMwPXx Because Ichigo saw it necassary (failspell) to kill him to protect Orihime and because ulquiorra wanted to fight him. Its..a deep story. Ulquiorra was probably the best villain in Bleach due to his uniqueness..

@kidkong65 I don't think Ichigo is too overpowered but he doesn't have much control over his inner hollow. Plus the creator of bleach wants this series to go for a long time to make a lot of money and they can't do that without the main character >_< If only someone, somehow brought Ulquiorra back to life :3
