This one's to honor one of my favorite players to wear a Minnesota Vikings uniform.

This clip shows some of Daunte's highlights of his MVP-like 2004 campaign, in which he set a new NFL record for combined yards in a season by a QB with 5,123 (4,717 passing and 406 rushing), breaking Dan Marino's record from 1984.

Daunte Culepper retired from pro football on September 4th, 2008.

  • was there a better madden combo then daunte to randy moss?

  • culpepper wasnt a bad qb at all and what happened to him in 2005 he was shell shocked with a poor o-line and a season ending knee injury. after THIS EPIC 2004 season, the vikes should have done all they could to keep the culpepper/moss combo and improve the defense and o-line. dont forget they had burleson too and moss was playing with a bad ankle in 2004. this team was sooooo set offensively

  • was this guy good i wasnt around to watch him

  • Love the music cues from 1:36 and on...nice cannon shots!

  • He was 10 times the athlete of Aaron Rodgers... he could make more plays than Mike Vick and he could escape tackles as good as Ben Roethlisberger... Daunte Culpepper... Get Yo Roll On!

  • @tendernipplez moss was injured for half of this season and DC was still bomb.

  • Beast year! good times

  • id be a good qb too if I was throwing to randy moss

  • @gntluvr coincidentally they got them together the very next year. until then they had just Kevin Williams.

  • man. ever since the Vikings lost him, they have just been having QB problems every year. (with the exception of 2009)

  • ughhhh he was such a good QB. unfortunately he never recovered from that panthers game were he blew his knee.

  • He was only a 6'4" 265lbs QB who ran like a 4.5 40 yd dash lol
