Some of these comments are just funny .... those who don't get it never will. Matt is a players, player ... he knows when to back off and when to kick it. His tone is great but it's his phrasing that is so cool. Also, his use of the diminished scales wrapped arond the pentitonic keeps his rifs melodic and yet open and airy.

Zero charisma and expensive equipment is not really my thing, I keep listening because he's British, building a good name for himself and I really want to GET what people are so into... but I can't, leaves me cold every time (shrugs and moves on, will try again soon!)
