hi rita i've got myself a baby jendaya conure he/she is now 4weeks old but it's only my second time with handfeeding how many times do i have to do this at this age ?

@Maanleentjh all birds are different. I feed my babies when they are empty, not on a schedule.

@Maanleentjh how much food are you feeding? At 4-5 weeks old a baby jenday should be gaining weight every day. Each feeding should be at least 10% of your babies weight. So, if your baby weighs 100 grams you should be feeding 10 CC of formula at each feeding. And each feeding should be when your baby is empty. A baby at 4-5 weeks old should be have an empty or close to empty crop at least 4 times a day. How much does your baby weigh?

@rita191919 his crop is mostly empty when i check him after 4 a 5 hours and he's getting louder every day but i didn't weigh him so far

he eats a lot his crop is really full after feeding but maybe it isn't enough i'll post a video tommorrow after his dinner so i can let u see how much he eat
