That's heavier than I thought quite impressive. I'm a little worried that mine is going to be way over the original wing loading so it will be difficult to get into the hover what wing loading have you got must be light as it looks like it lands and pitches up at low speed.

@oakleymac1 sorry, I cant help you with that, I dont know the wing loading. I been flying RC 30 yrs and I never worried about wing loading. Gary

What rpm you running the 18x8 at and what weight is the plane?

@oakleymac1 the planes weighs 19 pounds with 24 ounces of fuel on board. it tachs 7500 RPM on the ground! ;-D

That's very cool it must be putting out a lot of power sounds like it runs great heard a lot of petrol motors that don't throttle very clean but not that one. I have got an old super sportster kit I want to build for next summer the 1.20 size I plan to put a laser 2.00 v twin in it so I can hover just like your one.
