The swedish language is close to english in pronunciation and most school starts with english in the second grade. Easy words and how to pronunce them is the first thing you learn. But you can speak english with a swedish accent, but it's more if you want to do it. Like the comedian Björn Gustafson at ESC when he told the swedish votes. Some people might think it was funny - I did not.
