wow, I can see why people don't allow comments on their Video's!!!

I put this video up as a memorial to the Pachuco's, who were a small subculture of American Mexican's, who are overlooked in their contribution to American Art,dance and Culture.

I was hoping it would cause people to actually do their own research and learn, instead of continuing the hate.

My father Gus Zamora was involved in the trial and sent to San Quentin. His passing in 1983 was difficult. Just recently I've been on a mission to learn more about his past. He is in this video montage paused at 2:57 (second to the right). I have a sense of sadness of what happened. I want to Thank You all for keeping the memory alive and not let this tragic moment be forgotten. I know my father is smiling from heaven....

the bad thing about it is the fact that decades later the gangs got violent and it really gives us mexican americans a bad name. But the zoot suit era was great.

My Co-Workers Dad was One of the 25 that Got arrested during the Riots. He has amazing pics, and stories...
