Two gunmen robbed the Family Dollar Store in Evans on the evening of May 18, 2011, after ordering all the customers in the store to lie on the floor. The store, located at 825 31st St. in Evans, was open at 9:52 p.m. when the two men wearing ski masks and gloves walked in, ordered the employees to the floor, then held a woman employee at gunpoint while she emptied the cash register drawer. The suspects were described as both about 5-foot-8 or 5-foot-9, in their early 20s. One was wearing a black-and-white flannel plaid jacket, gray jeans and black shoes with white tips. The other was wearing a black pullover jacket, faded jeans, and a black Oakland Raiders baseball cap with a flat bill.
