That is also a start, then you can learn about assets allocations. How different assets classes uncorrelated with each other can mitigate your portfolio volatility thus maximizing your compounded returns. Then after that, you can learn about the most tax efficient ways to hold your assets with different type of trading accounts. i.e. tax free accounts retirement accounts. And then you can learn about the psychology of investing, how your biggest enemy of investing is your volatility tolerance

If you were only to implement one small piece of advice that Buffet / Graham endorse: that of ditching expensive actively-managed mutual funds in favour of drip feeding a modest amount each month into a low-cost index fund - this would almost certainly save you a pile. And make you a lot more money in the long run. It kinda renders most other books on the subject redundant.

Let me tell you, that book is a start. There are plenty more to read before you start investing

Indeed it is. I can imagine the book being unpopular with superficial people. Or those with the attention span of a gnat. But you will probably thank him in the long term for his helping prevent you losing money hand over fist.
