Former Homosexual James Hartline on KUSI: Leaving Homosexuality and San Diego Politics

James Hartline was invited to share his testimony on KUSI News. Former homosexual James Hartline, in a campaign for the San Diego City Council, was interviewed on KUSI. The reporters were more interested in discussing homosexuality, AIDS and living in the gay community then they were in politics during this very interesting and lively morning news show in one of America's largest metropolitan cities.

The reason I am commenting so much mostly because Im at home bored, No Im not a Dr. or preacher or theologian, but you dont have to be a rocket scientist to figure out that scripture was made with the layman in mind, if you just had your bible and the spirit you would be fine, what it says it says. Prove all you want, but I think God is looking for people that will just follow His word and stop looking for every reason to make it more like them.

You do not have to be world renowned to be right, the church should embrace a person in the sin of homosexuality, but not conform to society and say the act is appropriate. If after a period of time the person is unrepentant, they should be asked to leave, the same with all sexual immorality, whether sex outside of marriage, homosexuality, incest, etc. The bible says that in the end times things will be like this, it is no surprise, trying to make wrong right, is happening before our eyes.

@davejonescue Nowhere in the Bible does it say that we are supposed to embrace a person in their sin. The Bible says that we are to cast down vain imaginations & everything that rises up against the true knowledge of God. Jesus did not negotiate with demons, but He did cast them out. True love does not enable a man to stay a captive while the man continues in sin. Rather, true love delivers the man from sin. Co-existing with the darkness will lead a man to be taken captive by such darkness.

Notice how her NEVER admitted he has always been attracted to men before he was "cured". Reason he didn't is because for him to admit he was BORN gay would prove and GOD created him this way and would denounce his religion and beliefs. Really sad because he knows in his heart he is still gay regardless of the mask he wears for the public.

And by the way genius, that verse you trotted out still didn't actually show that 2 men can procreate. Do you know what procreate means? It' means "make babies".

Please, for the sake of the Church, and your own reputation, step away from the Bible.
