DOA5 Balance Test Combo Footage #3

Here's the last combo video before Tougeki. This time we have Hitomi, Hayabusa, Chrisie, Bayman and La Mariposa.

Some of the balance is still kind of iffy, but we tried our best. I was told we could only use characters that we've announced already, so this is it for now.

Hayabusa has some non-combo stuff too. If you just watch combo videos, then you'll notice a difference between characters that are good with combos and those that aren't. But DOA5 isn't just about combos. It's about the number of followups, types of followups, how safe you are after guard, how fast a move's startup is, reach, OHs, specific holds, Criticals, hold damage, throw damage, and on and on. It's about bringing those out in each character in a different way, and making each character unique.

You have to play to really understand this, though. I wish more people could get their hands on the game before launch, but at least we can put out these videos and a few lucky people can try the game out at special events.

And for all the people waiting for the game, I'm going back to work until the very end to make sure this game feels as fun as it possibly can!

[DOA5]バランス調整中コンボ動画3
闘劇前最後のコンボ動画を作りました。今回はヒトミ、ハヤブサ、クリスティ、バイマン­、ラ・マリポーサです。

まだ調整があやしい部分もあるので、ギリギリまで頑張ります。
既に公開したキャラ以外はだめだと言われているので、一旦終了にしますね。

ハヤブサにはコンボじゃないものも入っています。コンボ動画だけを見ると、どうしても­コンボが得意なキャラとそうでないキャラの差が気になると思います。
でもDOA5のモノサシはコンボ力だけではありません。派生の数や種類、ガード後の安­全性、発生の早さ、リーチ、OHの有無、固有ホールドの有無、クリティカル性能、ホー­ルドの威力、投げの威力、などなど、全てのキャラクターに個性、つまり能力差がありま­す。

そこは実際に触ってみないとわからないところなので、本当は発売前にもっと触ってほし­いのですが、今は動画を配信したり、イベントで触っていただくのが精一杯です。

では、実際に触ってみて面白いと感じてほしいので、残り時間全てをかけて最終調整を頑­張ります！

It show later that Ein is Actually Hayate , Older Brother of Kasumi . Hayate used to lose his memory about himself so he is Ein and Use Karate and then when his memory is back he come back to be Hayate . In DOA3-4 , there are Both Ein & Hayate BUT in DOA 5 , Ein is Gone since the story declare Ein is Gone and there is ONLY Hayate .

So , I feel Horrible that Tecmo didn't add Ein anymore . BUT , I hope they will create Another Karate Man to Replace Ein -__-

this...i only played Doa 2: Hardcore, and there it is Ein, which is also called Hayate,uhmm in this game this character Hayate appears (with that ninja outfit instead of the Leather costume in DOA 2) so, is there something in the plot im loosing? pardon me i just dont know

I wonder why TECMO didn't bring EIN Back . I ALWAYS Love this Karate Man .

It would be wrong if you say " Because there is already Hitomi who use Karate " . In DOA 3-4 Hitomi and Ein are always together .

I hope they will bring Ein Back Someday .
