@grameacham haha... i guess there is a lot more wood in a home with all that ornamentation back in the day compared to one of those "modern" homes of today.
@paulchancan The numbers are focusing on the use of reclaimed wood used in framing, and part of the reason for the difference in the numbers is that older houses, especially from the turn of the century (which makes up the majority of the vacant housing stock) were overbuilt compared to today's standards.
