GARY LUCAS: Live on Czech TV "Studio 6 State TV" 10/29/96
Another 1996 national Czech tv morning show appearance for Gary Lucas
during the promotion of his album recorded with Czech underground
band Urfaust, "The Ghosts of Prague", broadcast 2 days before
Halloween. First up is a news clip from a concert held at the famous
Roxy Theater (a crumbling art deco former Yiddish theater built in
the 1920's) the night before in Prague that featured Gary playing
with Richard "Faust" Mader, avant-garde Czech vocalist Mirka
Krivankova, and percussionist Jan Cambal. Next Gary plays a live solo
version of Burning Spear's classic "Foggy Road", and then is
interviewed about playing in the CR, and his Bohemian roots.
