Chapter 21- Thinking of You PART 1

Sarahs POV

The next day I was off school for obvious reasons. The doc said it was best for me to take rest and not do any physical activity and Dad just insisted for me to skip school that one day, gwr. So I stayed home, while everyone was at school. I was all alone, no one except Lenny to entertain me, well that couldnt be done because that involved running around and catching the little monster; something my mom banned from me to do. "Now we dont want a re-run of that incident now do we?" she said. Argh. I mean even Joe was acting like a goody two shoes, he even gave me dinner in bed that night. I mean I wasnt even sick or anything. Speaking of Joe, he did come straight to my house after school and spent the rest of the day with me. I tried to convince him to go do his homework, but he wouldnt bugde. He stayed by my side that whole time and I just couldnt help but get lost in his beautiful hazel eyes every time he looked at me. The feeling I got from inside was unbelievable, I felt like I could fly, with him by my side. Sounds super cheesy but it was the truth. And what also was the truth is that he would never like me in such a way. We were just friends. Just friends, we never were and never will be anything more and I accepted that fact long ago, I shouldnt even be thinking about him like that at all. I just couldnt find a way to control my heart.

Joe slept over that night too, he made a make-shift bed on my floor by using loads of cushions and a duvet, of course not forgetting the infamous care bear pillow. Seriously that boy was crazy, and I was afraid to say, even to myself that I was crazy for him. Every night I told my heart that it was not possible, Joe doesnt deserve a girl like me in a million years, he deserves much more than me but my heart wouldnt listen and it kept on aching. I really hated it but I learnt to keep it under control whenever he or anyone else was around. It was my secret, I hadnt even told anyone, not even Amy or Mom. Then how did Sasha know? She must have imagined it or something, she must have guessed and hit the target. She must have...I let it go, remembering what the doctor and everyone was telling me none stop, dont put yourself under stress. So I thought out the thing that most amused me..food and chocolate monkeys. Okay okay, weird I know but I just couldnt bring my self to muse over food, instead the image that kept playing in brain all that night was of Joe. I peeped over the edge of my bed at 11:11 that night, just to get a glance at his face. He was sleeping, looking so adorable like a little kitten but with his mouth open a little bit, I laughed at that a little. I would always joke that a fly or a spider would crawl into his mouth one day but then the next morning I would find a spider on my pillow and that would scare me to death. It was fake of course, all thanks to Joe putting it there in the first place.

Unable to get to sleep, my mind wondered about the many brilliant things that make Joseph Adam Jonas the one and only. Everything makes Joe laugh and he practically makes everyone laugh. Like that time in 7th Grade, he played a trick on some of the guys on the first day of school and he got sent to the principals office! Haha, the rebel side of Joseph Adam. He was born on a Tuesday and hated bad hair days. Hes the laziest guy ever!Always the last one to get out of bed and he spent the most time in front of the mirror. When Joe was 11, him and Kevin supposedly ate quarters in front of Nick and Maya, and apparently Joe had eaten the most! So you do know where Im coming from when I say hes abosotootingly bonkers. When Joe was young, he said he would never ever sing, but look at him now, he is singing and I must say he has an amazing voice that does wonders. The best thing about school for Joe was his desk and his favourite subject was social studies. His first trip out of the country was Mexico and when he was 7 he got his head stuck in a tamborine! (A.N all these facts are true! I did my research! Hello there is such thing called the internet!) Man Joe..he was definitely beyond out of this world.
