My first video! Just a humble (and totally clueless) fan tribute to Bowie: Ziggy stills, "Starman", and "The Jean Genie." Is this man not the personification of beauty?!

@MrMonsterstiffy I don't think I said she's a hermaphrodite. I know she's a woman. :) I was objecting to someone else's comment. He said something along the lines of, "If Gaga was male she might've been special." I took offense and objection with that because it implies that women singers/musicians aren't as special as men.

@4everClassicrock that was a throwaway comment - what I meant was that, were she male, at least WE wouldn't have to suffer with all the sexual liberation bullshit from her that's apparently groundbreaking when, in reality, you're right... everyone, for a long time now, in the western world at least is damn near equal, so she kinda does it either in vain or to the ignorant. That's why it irks me that she's treated like the fucking messiah, but I guess whatever helps people get through the day

I don't listen to Lady gaga but... thats not the point. Everyone has a right to express their talents male or female. You should never hide them, thats just a waste. Everyone is equal and i'm a big believer in that!

this being my era too, one took chances dressing that way and walking the streets of LA even in 71/72. we were such "pretty things" back then. these kids in skinny jeans don't know how much of what Bowie/Roxy/TRex/Dolls did to "pave the way".....

well, some people my age (14) do think that he is a freak. thats one of my friends' greatest faults. :) i grew up likeing music my parents like.

you kids have absolutely no idea how when bowie came out with spiders on mars how incredibly far-out we all thought he was and how it was like a tornado hitting the music scene.....the be like someone from another planet,,and his total fashion look,,,blew everyones mind,,,,then you listned to his usic..and it was like a sinular beatle had dropped out of the sky....and rocked the house down....what the early 70's was .... it was sooooo fun,fun fun.
