hi ralf , your demos are great . can i know how i can connect my rp500 to a mixer . can i connect it using the left ( mono ) out to the mixer or am i confined on using only the XLR cable method?thanks :)

i got my rp500 in a trade so like i dont have the manual..so like how do i record on my laptop? i have the usb cord but i just dont know how to get the sound to play through

@PsychoThrashin Well if it is too frizzy it could be that the speaker simulation was still on....or the EQ was set wrong....the mosdt important thing is that you can change things on the RP that you have the tools

@ralfjung thats what i did in a shop where i tried the digitech. I used a laney V300's FX loop return to conect the digitech. The DigSolo seemed the best marshall like model, can you tell me more by your experience? JCM800 sounded too fizzy :S

@ralfjung i tried before and is not the amp maybe the amp of my rp500... i tried the eq too and isnt the big deal... it did sound as i wanted it

@sticksnfists Wow this is quite tricky because it needs to know a few terms and knowledge how things work.
All it is it is a Whammy set up to one octave above then you assign a LFO to the Whammy pitch. That LFO can use various curves such as sinus curves to alter the Pitch when you then experiment with the frequency these alternations will experience you get sounds like this. It is the same way a arpegiator in a keyboard works by the way. I hope this gets you going my friend.thx for your comment

is the digitech brown sound based on a van halen type of a tone?

@StratBanez101 I think any sound branded brown sound is related to the early VH tone......as much as I know it is his sound from VH 1 and 2 making that name brown sound.....so yes
