Strongest diesel locomotive - Voith Maxima 40 CC

This is the strongest diesel locomotive in the world. The locomotive was build in Kiel/Germany from the company Voith turbo and now she is transport goods trucks in Bremerhaven/Germany.

Oh by the way your numbers are wrong, the Voith Maxima 40CC is only 23m long just a little shy of the EMD SD80. Which I might add has a draw bar pull 823kn(185,000 pounds of force). Well let’s look at your little bitch, oh I’m sorry it’s only got 519kn max (116,000 pounds of force). The SD80 is not even the US’s biggest and it would still pull your loco down the track in full reveres.

@Fincut81 Some very popular european locomotives like the class 66 is just an emd sd70 with a different car body on it. There are many; euro 4000, class 59, many gtXX series, jtxx series. Emd and GE have locomotives all over the world cause they are the best.

@Fincut81 You probably should do a little research before say something. Sd80 has vary advanced electronic traction control. Aggressive wheel slip/creep control, AC traction motors, self steering htc trucks which help keep all the wheel equally on the track. This is how it achieves such a high cohesion factor of up to 45%.

Anyone can say everything. This locomotive is a myth. He recived the Red Dot award on his design.

And is true to The Voith Maxima 40CC it is the STRONGEST Diesel Hidraulic locomotive in the world! This works well and can not be compared with anything.

Sadly you're wrong. EMD SD80 has no intelligent traction-controll, no chance to pull the Voith.
