As a nurse I would support legal use of marijuana to alleviate pain and suffering...however that means dispensing marijuana with dr.'s order and with dosage adjusted based on individual pt.'s condition...in other words using marijuana like any other controlled substance like oxycontin, morphine etc.
What would that mean???
well that would mean that 99% of the people marching in the video will probably not get marijuana...So stop wasting your time being stupid street advocate...

"medical reason" that's retarded...your retarded as the saying goes no victim no crime

Tobacco is a natural plant but it still kills people. Go Weed!

@jsj297 I agree with you to a certain extend. On the other hand, how many people do you know that smoke and are sick? A lot of my friends in the Netherlands smoke it and they actually are people who seem to be never ill. So what's the point? The main focus: Help the people who need it!. You can get drunk whenever you want (if you want it), but people who rely upon it still have to fight. So legalize it!.

@miceypoo If you learned anything from history you wouldn't support prohibition. I bet you got a C- in history class! Support of prohibition is support for the drug trade. you just can't see the forest for the trees
-
@miceypoo Those statistics sound like bullshit! Plus THC unlike alcohol isn't poisonous its non-toxic! You could inject THC into your vains and live or eat 42 kilos of marijuana and not die. Granted the drug trade is a violent trade but that is because of prohibition not because of the effects of marijuana. marijuana doesn't kill brain cells ,cause cancer, cause impotence, or make you a loser. Knowlege is power and ignorance isn't bliss don't believe everything the TV tells you.

@skylinefootball. No thank you, too many people have introduced drugs, alcohol, and guns as "cultural" contributions. I learn from history and don't accept poison. I dont support the drug trade. And marijuana smokers often use harder drugs. Around 1/3 of people who have tried weed (42%) in the USA have tried cocaine(14%). So a 1/3 of those weed activists have tried coke. The drug trade is also the most murderous trade in the world. I am not a selfish person and I dont support narcos. thanks

@miceypoo you just don't know any better. once you try it you will realise how boring life can be when you don't have it. Not just that the physical effects of weed are orgasmic. I have heard your argument before from others and when those people finally tried weed they admitted that their argument was just an excuse because they were scared and didn't want to try it. Don't be scared give it a smoke ; )

@skylinefootball Scared to smoke weed? How about we don't need drugs to make our lives better. Some people actually love their lives without living in a weed-induced fantasy land.
WTF how come I didn't know about this last year. How can I live hear and not have known about this!

I believe Marijuana should be legalized for legitamite medical conditions. The rest of you hide behind the sick people, in hopes of getting legalized for all. That's disguisting. That's self centeredness at it's best.

The medical efficacy of medical Cannabis has always been a compelling issue on its' own and the need for alleviation of suffering is everyone's priority. But nobody's hiding behind anybody.
We are celebrating the versatility of this remarkable gift from Mother Nature and our Constitutional right to autonomy, while recognizing that prohibitions are always failures.
Alcohol prohibition was ended partly by non-drinkers, concerned about their communities. Nothing self centered about that.
