@DC98SI It might pay you to put your brain into gear before writing posts and making a fool out of yourself. The lady was talking about black and white, not monochrome. Monochrome means one colour. Like sepia is all the one colour, cyanotype is a monochrome (all the same colour) but neither sepia nor cyanotype is black and white. Do you get the picture now? Maybe the eHow videos are not as terrible or as ignorant as you? ;-)

A simple thing like capture format should rate a mention especially for B/W pics. Raw format gives you more image info to work with than Mpeg. A good effort though,thanks.
