@rigbytea Same here. And on the 2011 Rockin' Eve a few months later, right after he counted down, they cut back to him real quick, looking like he was ready to cry because he was so emotional about still being able to do his thing despite his setbacks. But at the end of the day, Dick is assuring us, "This stroke may have screwed up my speech, but in the end, I keep kicking the hell out of the odds." A class act for sure.
