i dont think this is animal abuse but the cart looks a bit hard for the dogs to pull and its all uneven and unlevel so the dogs are taking on alot of weight.

@whatdahieu You're probably right, especially with the cart as it is. I will try to buy them a better cart or a wagon next time I'm there.

I think it's no more abuse than it is for dogs to pull sleds up North. A dog can pull a fair amount of weight. People working out in a gym "struggle" to lift weights. I think it's good exercise for the dogs and a creative way for the kids to do something constructive like going to get alfalfa for the horses.
I've witnessed animal abuse, and this is definitely not it.

I know... I was told he actually sat in the cart with his brother at times and let the dogs pull on their own, and that he got the idea from his uncle who used to do the same thing.
