  • Well done, great dogs and great performance. I wish that you would have filmed the retrieve, that would have been nice to see.

I am considering a Spinone myself...but these are just great dogs.

  • @WEGSxIRISH They sure do. They love water retrieving and can take colder water then some other versatile breeds.

  • I want to get one of these dogs, but i pheasant and water fowl hunt. Does anyone know if they would perform well in the duck blind?

  • very nice clip. working dogs need to work.

for viewers who don't know, this breed is sometimes described as the ultimate foot hunters upland bird dog. They are great for older gentleman, as they are often not as big running as other pointing breeds, and typically are very cooperative. I know several retired gentlemen who swear by this breed for upland and waterfowl applications.

  • It is nice to see someone actually hunting over their griff and not just working some NAVHDA event. Beautiful point & hold.
