  • I certainly appreciate Mr Hemenway's relaxed soft spoken style ...interesting bits of information but 'horticulture' is an enormous catch word and how is it a more fitting term than 'sustainibility' in regards to culture ...the 'how to' is missing maybe I missed the point

perhaps there is another part that elaborates or clarifies or is this about reading the book?

  • @gaiagale

There is more, and it's well worth watching - check the bottom of the video info for a link to watch the full lecture.

Reading the book is also a very good idea :-)

  • We first have to get rid of the NWO cronies and their government slaves!

  • good video. Thank you for posting.

  • "gaia's garden" is a book that Every human who spends money should own.

  • Maybe the permaculture way of thinking CAN save civilization. Food forests can be tended with minimal human energies. About a quarter of human energies are wasted in destructive play, with that pattern set throughout our life, the effect is clear. If we learned activities that build instead of destroy, that pattern would carry through, and our efficiency (in building) as a species would reflect that.

  • A big DITTO to what Rawgasmic stated! :)

  • Excellent video :)
