Sex Pistols There'll Always Be An England Live From Brixton Academy 10.11.2007 The 30th Anniversary of Never Mind The Bollocks Directed by Julien Temple
@ianhitman Strange, this idea that the only valid response to music or art or movies you don't like is to say nothing and walk away. For a lot of things, that is appropriate. Some things matter more, and are worthy of a comment, even if it is a negative comment. I hardly think Johnny would have avoided, or would avoid, calling something depressingly boring if that was what he thought it was.
Is this what they called the "Filthy Lucre" tour? At least they didn't have to change the rhetoric. When Johnny asked, "Ever have the feeling you've been cheated?" at their last show in San Francisco in early 1978, I would guess that most of the people would have responded that they did not feel cheated by that show. This one, though, just looks like a genuine fraud. I don't fault them for wanting to do work that pays, really I don't. Just depressing watching this...
@Ukiwi That's how they were before they sacked Glen and they took the Sid caricature.. Thank God, Glen came back!
