thanks, maybe that means the big bushcraft legend ray mear did a amateur mistake and fail with the first kit he made, i think thats a littel fun,

yeah its dead, but you can also see, when he get the ember its not the same board,
the first board have bark on it, when he get the ember the board have no bark,+ it have crack in the side, the first board did not have that,

@cekinxxx I just watched that clip. It looked like he pulled a stick of dead willow out from among the green ones. You'll find dead ones in a bush like that.
