Well after many years of undeserved obscurity they're back and delivering superb music as they always have, but this time even better!

Yes they always went down well in folkestone in the 70's, though last time I saw them was Southport I think Mid 83

First time I saw the Enid was in a tiny music venue called The Tunnel (in London), we could not believe what we saw & heard that evening, it was like Holst, Yes, Mahler, Pink Floyd all massed together - symphonic! Hope to see more videos of this amazing concert (which I have on vinyl & CD). Have got to meet RJG & Steve S a number of times over the years and continue to greatly appreciate The Enid's music. They deserve a world audience!

My favourite recollection of many Enid concerts from the 80s when i first fell in love with the music was of a gig at Sheffield Poly in the middle of the miners strike in 1984 when RJG, sporting a dress, engaged in a verbal 'argument' with some mining types. Suicidal... but the power of Robert's verbal wit beat the louts. Oh, and i got to have fun in the train back to Derby with a girl from Long Eaton who'd been at the gig too. Happy days...
Ladies and Gentlemen, please note this is one of the most beautiful pieces of music you are ever likely to hear, from one of the most distinctive albums ever made.
