In the 60s, everyone dropped out, and turned on in protest, until the 70's, when everyone learned you could drop out and turn on without having a reason or excuse, other than to feel good. Turn on, get naked in a pile, do whatever you want, but stop whining about growing up during the prosperous Reagan years — it's pathetic. So you beat up on Reagan when the whole point of the video is that your lead singer is a slacker moron, who has to have other people do his work for him ?
