  • @LINDAKILLZDAFUNK

Thank you for the sensitivity of being human

  • Don't belittle someone else's struggles, don't call it selfish. And I agree there's a ton of stigma about mental health, esp. among youth, but don't make that statement about Gunn's students. We are proud to be an open community! The suicides have had a profound effect on the students here, sometimes in ways not so obvious, and outside spectators are just that--outside spectators.

  • I haven't seen any other YO!Blogger, but I think this one was done in poor taste. I am a student at Gunn High, and I think how casually and insensitively you talk about suicide is counterproductive to your cause. You have good intentions, but this video feels more like you just needed a news story to blog about rather than you want to really help people.

  • When I asked for help. I was ATTACKED AND DISCRIMINATED AGAINST. I am now homeless. Lost every thing because the of City of Palo Alto feels mental illness is a weakness and people suffering from this should be gotten rid of, as I was. Please view my video on this site. Fireman needs help, abuse of power. I also need a new shoulder that the city is refussing to give me. The City of Palo Alto is a very sick place run by very sick people. Exposure to this kills, hopes, dreams and people.

  • HELLO, My name is Andrew Jentzsch I was a Palo Alto Firefighter and Paramedic for 20 years. Since you posted this 1 more person has ended their life on the tracks. Death is better than living in Palo Alto. As you mentioned the people there seem to care about how it looks or sounds more than the people who\s lives the city tears apart. Working in Palo Alto was like being in hell. I asked for help, the job of a Paramedic was getting to me. I had seen too many peoples brains all over the tracks
