[1080p] DX10 MAX SETTING Age of Conan - Rise of the Godslayer

I haven't been able to find a dx10 RoGS video that was decently rendered... Decided to put one up for myself ;)

Just a few basic kills, two fatalities and a PvP kill at the end (which was un intentional.... she stealthed when she saw me and I was assuming she was coming for me :P)

I got a 450GTS as well and I can't run it on high only tweaked high on around 30 fps I even have a 6 core amd the fuck is wrong with this game?

Graphics never was AoC's problem, its the game mechanics and the refusal of the dev's to listen to the player base.

You need to keep reading - I pulled my dates for that from Wikipedia too, seeing as it's a good 20 years since I last read any Conan stories - I just read and comprehended instead of sticking down the first time period in the article that I came to like you did :p

"Howard (creator of conan) stated that the geographical setting of the Hyborian Age is that of our earth, but in a fictional version of a period in the past, c. Upper Paleolithic (40,000 to 10,000 BC)"

...so thats 1. Id go research some more to prove you wrong several times over, but fuck if im gonna argue with a 40 year old still holding on to such shit as if it was the most part of his life.

Conan's Hyborian Age set in fantasised pre-history = c20,000BC-c9,500BC

Roman Kingdom army using unarmoured slingers as only ranged element = c600BC

Only richest spearmen using partial bronze plate (BP/helm/greaves) = c700-200BC

First Roman use of archers = probably in the Auxilia, created in 30BC

Invention of chainmail, probably by Celts = c300BC

Roman Legions start using partial-plate (Lorica Segmentata) = 9BC

@gravex85 the key to that comment was the year, 600 BC, but you didn't seem to get that did you. If in that age such gear was already available, then this video does not portray "what it really looked like".

And rogues were/are basicly mercenaries, rebels, so yea, they did use more than just leather. Look around.
