The rod begins to dangle in the heavy rain, Rod reaches it with cat-like reflex and the fight with a tiny sturgeon was on after a swift hook-set! This is a clip that we shot in fall 2008 during a very wet sturgeon fishing outing on the Fraser River, British Columbia.

  • Congratulations from Spain.

  • thanks!

  • lol i would have laughed if when u went to set the hook it looked like you almost hit the camera and if the camera fell off the boat ahah but anyways good fishing 5 stars

  • Yep, it was a rather big hookset. ;)

  • i've never caught a strugeon so even this little guy would be fun :)

  • Indeed. The fun part of sturgeon fishing is that you never know how big your next fish will be. It maybe 1 foot long or 10 feet long!

  • Thats the look of a very happy guy. I am sure it was better than sitting down and looking at rain.
