It's not douchy, it's honest. I didn't see him being rude. Besides, he probably has his reasons. You admit to having some yourself, an actor involved in it must have an even better idea. We'd be in a sorry state if we were always sucking up to people based purely on the fact they're paying us.

If Edward Cullen fans are kids, then it's good that the guy playing him is willing to tell it straight about why they shouldn't look up to him and why it's not a good story. It's nice to see an actor who's genuine and doesn't just pander.
