@louied3544 @louied3544 ..and I'm disappointed in you for not realizing (or mentioning) that TROWER is the TRUE star but was AIDED IMMENSELY by James Dewar, who would have not made it to a Saturday garage sale ( as you put it ) without TROWER. Get your facts straight. Trower was not famous due to vocals, but, instead, due to his guitar playing. He could have chosen a number of vocalists and bass players and STILL would have become famous for his axe handling. Was Dewar a great choice? Of course.

@louied3544 it was all good!

@RogerHWerner Well of course that's pure physics. The speakers move air in waves, and you should indeed have felt them if you were standing close enough - and it was loud enough...

That's not true at all. There's plenty of music like this coming out today, you just have to know where to look.

@RogerHWerner - Only twice??? I've lost count myself. No use going to Vegas for me, all the luck used up ;) Great times!

Another thing... the production quality was bang on for its era. No digital recorders in those days, just level meters and talent.

All great guitar players need a solid rhythm section to back them up Fact the Fact that Trower had the added bonus of an exceptional singer sweetens the pot you are correct sir

after reading comments from all the hard core fans , all the comparisons to HENDRIX , phrases like 'GREATEST SOLO EVER i am very disappointed that not one fan bothered to comment on the real star of this record . Without whose contribution this great rock record would not have made it to saturday yard sale let alone stand as one of rocks true anthems. James Dewar , the lead singer and bass player on every cut is most responsible for the success trower has enjoyed since it's release..
I saw Trower play behind Charlie Daniels and Wishbone Ash probably in December 1974 or Jan-Feb q975...long time ago. I was tripping my brains out at the time and I don't think I'll ever forget the feel of this song standing as I was directly in front of the huge amps. I;d swear my hair was blowing back from the power of the music. 37 years later I can steel feel that sensation.
