Rare video footage of Chester based Vocal/Guitar Duo 'Taylor Brothers' (real names Reg and Vic Button) who played at many clubs and pubs throughout Wales and the North West of England in the 70's 80's. 'Living Next Door To Alice' featured in their cabaret act. This clip is part of the only video ever made of the Taylor Brothers taken at a practice session [1978?] in Reg's back garden at the Lache, Chester - more clips from this tape to follow. Potted History spanning over two decades: Born out of the 'Dateliners', these soon became John 'E' Byrns And The Dateliners gigging at such venues as the 'Cavern Club', Riverpark Ballroom', 'Quaintways',ect., in the 60's with drummer Jeff Baker (now a top Chester author) went on to form the 'Tumblewood Trio' with Reg Mendleson, sometime later Vic Button and Reg Button splitting off to become the 'Taylor Brothers'.
