  • this tutorial would've been much MUCH better with some close-ups, and if the lighting hadn't been so bright on making the buds on the cake...I couldn't really tell what she was doing with such washed out lighting and from such a distance. It would've also been nice to either get an overhead shot or to have had her tilt the cake.

  • when i first saw this i had to look up your website i love it when i save money i will buy some things i love this way to do the roses. first i just did it on a 7in. nail and it was so hard so i looked up roses again and saw you so i watched it and 2hours later i try it was so awesome. i had to do my baby sisters first birthday party and she loved here cake so much she did not let any one eat it she started to cry when my mom cut the cake she was so mad at here she will not talk to her today

  • I'll have to take your word for it because you may be skilled at cake decorating but I agree with rjsuydam that it was the lighting was made it hard to see what you were doing. Also, the angle it was shot at and the lack of close ups didn't help. It may help when recording a frosting instruction video to wear a top that is solid so it doesn't interfere with the visuals. Ideally, the only thing we should see of you is your hands. I'll check out your website because I think you have the chops!

  • You can't see a thing she's doing because the camera just keeps going in and out like a sideways yoyo.

  • thank you , good instructions :)

  • *close ups of the rose on the chop stick*

  • I wish I could have seen some close-ups, but I still like this tutorial. Thank you, I think I can make them now:) I'm going to make my own wedding cake in January, I hope i have it down really good by then:)
