This is a bass that i made for a school project. It takes me around 37 hours to do it, and it costs me 600$ to 700$. In the video, i say "this is a quick recording of my homemade bass".

  • dude i made a jazz bass guitar for a school project and it only cost like $70 all together.

  • Allright. What's the difference between a barracuda or some crappy bass like that and a Fender or a Gibson ? Only the price ? My mics, exemple, cost me 150$. That's the difference.

  • u playing blink 182 dammit right?

  • Yes. It's in the tags ^^

  • dude thats awsome a semi acoustic homeade bass did u get blueprints for it of the internet or something?

  • Not at all, i have a bass, a bass teacher, an ebenist uncle, and i improvised with the knowledge i already had and the confusing instructions that came with the stock i bought. Thanks for the comment :)

  • Young Man, I commend you on your creation, Well Done or as the young ones would say, AWESOME! Don't Listen to the negative comments. I am pretty sure most of the critics can not even wind their own strings on their own instruments never the less even build one. You keep it going and hold your head up high. This is your own creation one of a kind no one else has what you have. Take if from me I know that personally. Keep up the Great work.

  • for 700 dollars why didnt you buy urself a better bass?

  • 0:20 like the bass threw up

  • Young Man You Really Have Some Serious Talent There. Keep up the good work. From the little I heard, It sounds Great!

  • It looks totally awesome¬

  • I am making a bass out of scrap steel. I work in a factory that will let me use their workshop after hours. It will effectively cost me nothing (but it's really REALLY heavy...)

  • Your comment doesn't pertain at all to what he said, it's like night and day. Commercial instruments can not compare to the work that you can put into something you build yourself. Thus, his $70 bass could easily play and sound much better than yours, regardless of how much more your parts cost. Presumably, you simply put yours together, and his sounds like he built it from scratch.

  • omfg i am mak'n a bass, and that looks almost exactly like it.... O_o
