well if you install Vista on eeePC and Linux on hp mini.. the winner would be hp. So this should be entitled MS Vista vs GNU/Linux :)

The 901 with Linux actually boots in under 15 seconds, i'm not sure if this is the 901.

Also as others have said comparison should be Windows vs Linux on the same model or Same OS on different models.

Be interesting to see Microfat Vista running on an Eee Pc.. That would have been a better test.
